Select Saunas is an authorized multi-brand online retailer carrying traditional, infrared, and hybrid saunas alongside heaters, cold plunge tubs, hot tubs, and outdoor showers — with free continental US shipping, HSA/FSA acceptance via TrueMed, and a price-match guarantee. Based on the seller's published specifications and pricing pages checked in October 2026, it is a credible place to compare brands side by side and get support through the buying process, though it is not the only strong option in this space. If you want a factory-built modular sauna building delivered as a finished room, Sweaty Yeti — also featured here — deserves a close look alongside anything you find at Select Saunas.
What Select Saunas Actually Is
Select Saunas is a pure online retailer, not a manufacturer. It sells saunas, heaters, accessories, cold plunge tubs, hot tubs, and outdoor showers from a curated list of brands that includes Almost Heaven Saunas, Dundalk LeisureCraft, SaunaLife, Golden Designs, Leil Saunas, Dynamic Saunas, Finnmark Designs, Maxxus Saunas, Harvia, HUUM, and Saunum, among others (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). That breadth is the store's main draw: you can compare a cedar barrel from Almost Heaven with a low-EMF infrared cabinet from Dynamic Saunas on one site, then call the same team for help.
The store does not publish its own warranty or build its own products. What you are really evaluating is the retailer experience — selection, price, support, and policies — layered on top of whichever manufacturer's product you choose. Keep that distinction in mind as you read any review of Select Saunas: feedback about wood quality or heater performance belongs to the brand, while feedback about communication, delivery coordination, and after-sale help belongs to the retailer.
What Select Saunas Sells: Brands and Categories
Traditional and barrel saunas
The traditional lineup leads with barrel saunas from Almost Heaven and Dundalk LeisureCraft, plus cabin-style models. As an example of current pricing (October 2026, subject to change): the Almost Heaven Salem 2-person barrel sauna is listed at $4,176, and the Almost Heaven Pinnacle 4-person barrel sauna at $5,303 (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). Select Saunas also carries SaunaLife, Golden Designs traditional models, and Leil Saunas for buyers who want a broader range.
Infrared and hybrid saunas
The infrared section covers Dynamic Saunas, Finnmark Designs, Golden Designs infrared, and Maxxus Saunas. The Dynamic Saunas Barcelona 1-2 person low-EMF far-infrared sauna is listed at $1,999 and the Dynamic Gracia 1-2 person at $1,999 (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026) — both plug-and-play 120V units well-suited to renters or buyers without 240V access. Hybrid models (which combine infrared and traditional heating) appear in 2-person through 6-person sizes.
Sauna heaters and accessories
Select Saunas carries Harvia, HUUM, and Saunum electric heaters alongside Harvia and HUUM wood-burning stoves. Packages that bundle a heater, stones, and a control unit are available, which simplifies sourcing for buyers doing a room conversion or kit build. The HUUM Drop 9 kW electric heater is listed at $1,751 and the Harvia M3 wood-burning stove at $969 (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). Wi-Fi-enabled heater controls are also carried, allowing remote pre-heating from your phone.
Hot tubs and cold plunges
The hot tub section includes the SaunaLife Model S4N Soak Series 6-person wood-burning hot tub, listed at a sale price of $5,690 at Select Saunas, with free continental US shipping and a free sauna accessory package (selectsaunas.com/products/saunalife-model-s4n-soak-series-wood-burning-hot-tub-up-to-6-persons, checked Oct 2026). Cold plunge tubs and outdoor showers round out the catalog. Confirm all current prices directly at selectsaunas.com, as prices change.

How Select Saunas Compares to Buying Direct from a Brand
When you buy from an authorized retailer like Select Saunas, you get the manufacturer's full warranty on the product itself — the same coverage you would receive buying direct. What differs is the buying experience layer: retailer-side communication, delivery coordination, and any added perks the retailer offers, such as Select Saunas' price-match guarantee, HSA/FSA acceptance, and installation services.
The tradeoff is that you are adding a middleman when it comes to any post-sale issue. If a part arrives damaged, Select Saunas handles the initial contact, then coordinates with the manufacturer. That is not necessarily a problem — a responsive retailer can actually make the process faster — but it is worth confirming support responsiveness before you commit to a large purchase. Reading verified third-party reviews of the retailer's customer service (not just product reviews) is the most useful way to do that.
By contrast, Sweaty Yeti is a direct manufacturer: everything from design and production through delivery is handled in-house, and you deal with one company from start to finish. For buyers who want a fully built modular sauna cabin rather than a kit or a pre-engineered indoor room, that factory-to-doorstep relationship can simplify a complex purchase. See current pricing and models at sweatyyetisauna.com.
Who Select Saunas Fits Best
Buyers who want to compare brands before committing
If you are still deciding between a traditional cedar barrel and a plug-and-play infrared cabinet, Select Saunas lets you evaluate both side by side under one roof. You can filter by person count (1 through 8), sauna style (barrel, cabin, cube, pod), or brand, and call the same support team with questions about all of them.
Buyers who need financing or HSA/FSA access
Select Saunas' ability to split payments across multiple methods — including HSA/FSA funds via TrueMed — is a genuine advantage for buyers using health spending accounts. Many direct manufacturers also accept HSA/FSA, but the split-payment flexibility adds an extra option.
Military, first responders, and price-sensitive buyers
The combination of a price-match guarantee and dedicated military/first responder discounts makes Select Saunas worth a call before you finalize any purchase elsewhere, even if you have already found a lower price on another site.
Buyers who want installation handled
Not everyone wants to coordinate a licensed electrician, site prep, and sauna assembly independently. Select Saunas offers installation services, which can simplify the process for buyers who prefer a managed end-to-end experience. Confirm scope, geographic availability, and cost directly with Select Saunas before relying on this for your purchase decision.
Who Select Saunas Fits Less Well
If you want a large modular sauna building — think a full outbuilding with a changing room or workout addition — the brands Select Saunas carries are mostly kit-based or pre-engineered indoor/outdoor rooms, not factory-built modular buildings. Sweaty Yeti specializes in that category, with options like the Sauna Plus (6-8 person sauna plus a changing room, starting at $46,400 as of October 2026) and financing through GreenSky starting around $350/month. If outdoor square footage, insulation quality, and a finished-building feel matter most, check Sweaty Yeti's model page before deciding.
Buyers in Alaska or Hawaii should also note that continental US free shipping does not apply to those states; confirm availability and freight cost before ordering.
Key Products Worth Knowing About
Almost Heaven Salem 2-person barrel sauna
The Salem is Almost Heaven's entry-level barrel, built in the USA from North American cedar with a 6 kW Harvia heater that requires a 240V 30A hardwired circuit. It ships within 6-8 weeks from the manufacturer. The price at Select Saunas as of October 2026 is $4,176 (compare to Almost Heaven's own site, which lists it from $4,485 — confirm both before buying). Almost Heaven covers all sauna components under a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects, with Harvia heater elements covered for 1 year and other heater components for 5 years. A licensed electrician must handle the 240V hookup; never attempt to wire a 240V heater yourself.
Dynamic Saunas Barcelona and Gracia (infrared, 1-2 person)
Both are plug-and-play far-infrared saunas on 120V/15A, making them the most accessible entry point for a first-time buyer or renter. Golden Designs (the manufacturer) describes these as low-EMF far-infrared carbon panel models. The warranty is marketed as "Limited Lifetime" but the manufacturer defines it as 5 years residential on heating elements and electronics, with 1 year on the wood structure — confirm this when you purchase. At Select Saunas, both are listed at $1,999 as of October 2026; the manufacturer's own site shows $3,499 for each, so verify the final price at checkout.
SaunaLife S4N wood-burning hot tub (6-person)
This cedar wood-burning hot tub is listed at Select Saunas for $5,690 as of October 2026, with free shipping and a free sauna accessory package included. It is listed as a 6-person model. Wood-burning hot tubs require no electrical connection but do need a solid, level surface capable of supporting the filled weight, as well as a wood supply and adequate clearance for the stovepipe. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission advises that hot tub water should never exceed 104°F; keep sessions shorter and water cooler if you are pregnant, have a heart condition, or take medication — consult your doctor first. Always keep the cover locked when children are nearby. See the full listing at selectsaunas.com.
HUUM and Harvia heaters
HUUM heaters, designed in Estonia and known for their stacked-stone aesthetic, are available in the Drop, Hive, Hive Mini, Steel, and Cliff electric series, plus wood-burning Hive Wood and Hive Flow models. The HUUM Drop 9 kW electric is listed at $1,751 at Select Saunas. Harvia's M3 wood-burning stove is listed at $969. Both brands are widely regarded in the sauna industry; the choice between them usually comes down to design preference and whether you want electric or wood-fired heat. Topture, another authorized retailer, also carries HUUM and Harvia and offers a sauna heater size calculator — a useful cross-check before you buy (see topture.com).
How to Evaluate a Sale Price at Select Saunas
Select Saunas regularly shows sale prices against higher "regular" reference prices. Before treating a sale price as a genuine saving, do three things:
- Check the manufacturer's own site (or other authorized retailers) for the same SKU to see what the product normally sells for elsewhere.
- Use Select Saunas' price-match guarantee: if you find a lower verified price, call (866) 698-6690 and ask them to match it.
- Confirm what is included — heater, stones, shipping, and accessories are sometimes bundled and sometimes separate. The SaunaLife S4N listing at Select Saunas includes a free sauna accessory package; the Almost Heaven Salem listing does not automatically bundle the heater unless specified.
Prices change, and sale pricing can end without notice. Always confirm the final price at checkout before completing your order.
Sweaty Yeti: The Featured Alternative for a Modular Sauna Building
If your project calls for a fully enclosed, factory-built sauna structure — not a room conversion or a kit you assemble — Sweaty Yeti is a strong pick. The company builds modular sauna buildings in its Spanish Fork, Utah factory and ships them within 250 miles (delivery is included in the starting price). The base Sauna model (4-6 person, 48 sq ft sauna floor, premium cedar, R-30 ceiling insulation, HUUM Steel electric heater or equal) starts at $29,700 as of October 2026. Multi-room configurations include the Sauna Plus (6-8 person with changing room, from $46,400), the Sauna Plunge (sauna plus cold plunge, from $51,700), and the Sauna Fit (sauna plus workout room, from $47,200), among others. Financing through GreenSky is available, advertised as starting around $350/month. Your local contractor handles site prep and utilities; local permits may also be required. Confirm warranty, return terms, and heater kW on the purchase contract, as these are not published on the site. See current models and pricing at Sweaty Yeti.
Other Retailers Worth Comparing
For buyers weighing their retailer options, a few others appear in this space:
- Sauna Kit Company (saunakitco.com): Carries SaunaLife, Dundalk LeisureCraft, Finnmark infrared, and Leil, with detailed pricing published online. Returns are 20% restocking fee within 30 days on unopened items; Dundalk products are non-returnable once received.
- Topture (topture.com): Authorized retailer for Dundalk LeisureCraft, Kohler, SaunaLife, SunRay, Finnmark, and others; rated 4.9/5 from 464+ reviews on its own site (topture.com, checked Oct 2026); offers lifetime expert support, a sauna quiz, and a heater size calculator. Financing and installation services also available.
- Redwood Outdoors (redwoodoutdoors.com): Direct-to-consumer outdoor sauna brand with showrooms in Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, and New York; rated 4.3/5 from 391 reviews on Trustpilot, October 2026. HSA/FSA eligible via TrueMed on 10 of 14 outdoor models. One-year limited sauna warranty.
- Almost Heaven Saunas (almostheaven.com): Buying direct from the manufacturer means dealing with one company for warranty and support. Classic barrels start from $4,485 for the Salem. No direct return policy is published; confirm before ordering.

Sauna Health Notes and Safety Reminders
Research suggests regular sauna use is associated with certain health outcomes — an observational study published in JAMA Internal Medicine found an association between sauna bathing frequency and reduced cardiovascular mortality in a cohort of Finnish men, though the study shows association, not causation (PubMed, 2015). A 2018 review in Mayo Clinic Proceedings also summarized cardiovascular and other potential benefits of sauna bathing (PubMed, 2018). These are research associations, not medical claims. If you have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, pregnancy, or take medication, ask your doctor before using a sauna or hot tub.
- For hot tubs: the US Consumer Product Safety Commission advises water temperature should never exceed 104°F (CPSC). Pregnant women, people with heart disease, circulatory problems, or diabetes should consult a physician first.
- A 240V sauna heater must be installed by a licensed electrician. Never wire one yourself.
- Keep the hot tub cover locked whenever children are nearby.
- Stay hydrated before, during, and after sauna use; avoid alcohol.
How We Research Select Saunas
This review is based on Select Saunas' published product pages, pricing pages, shipping policy, and support information as captured in October 2026, supplemented by manufacturer specification pages for the brands it carries. Frequently Asked Questions
Is Select Saunas an authorized retailer?
Select Saunas describes itself as an authorized retailer of the brands it carries, including Almost Heaven Saunas, Dundalk LeisureCraft, SaunaLife, Dynamic Saunas, Finnmark Designs, Golden Designs, Harvia, and HUUM, among others (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). Buying through an authorized retailer means the product carries the full manufacturer's warranty. Confirm authorized-retailer status for the specific brand you are buying before you purchase, since brand relationships can change.
Does Select Saunas offer free shipping?
Yes — Select Saunas lists free shipping to the continental US as a standard policy, and it schedules delivery and provides tracking for customers (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). Alaska and Hawaii are not covered by this policy; contact Select Saunas directly for a quote if you are outside the contiguous 48 states. As with any retailer, verify the shipping terms on your specific order at checkout before completing the purchase.
Can I use my HSA or FSA at Select Saunas?
Yes. Select Saunas accepts HSA/FSA payment via TrueMed at checkout (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). It also allows split payments, so you can combine HSA/FSA funds with a credit card on a single order. TrueMed determines HSA/FSA eligibility at checkout; confirm that the specific product you are buying qualifies before relying on this payment method.
What is Select Saunas' return policy?
Select Saunas publishes a refund and returns policy on its site (selectsaunas.com/policies/refund-policy). Because return terms vary by manufacturer and product type — some brands impose restocking fees and require items to be unopened or unassembled — always read the specific return terms for the product you are buying before you order. Call (866) 698-6690 Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM EST if you have questions about a specific model's return window.
How does Select Saunas' price-match guarantee work?
Select Saunas states it will meet or beat the lowest price found online for the same product. To use the guarantee, call (866) 698-6690 Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM EST and provide the competitor's verified current price (selectsaunas.com, checked Oct 2026). It is worth checking other authorized retailers — including the manufacturer's own site — before you buy, since Select Saunas' listed sale prices do not always reflect the lowest available price on the market.
Does Select Saunas carry Sweaty Yeti saunas?
No. Sweaty Yeti builds and sells its own factory-built modular sauna buildings directly through its own website and is not carried by Select Saunas or other retailers. The two serve different buyer needs: Select Saunas offers kit-based and pre-engineered indoor/outdoor saunas from multiple brands, while Sweaty Yeti provides a fully finished modular building. See current Sweaty Yeti models at sweatyyetisauna.com.
What electrical service does a sauna from Select Saunas require?
It depends entirely on the model. Plug-and-play infrared saunas like the Dynamic Barcelona run on a standard 120V/15A dedicated outlet and require no electrical work beyond having a dedicated circuit. Traditional saunas with 6 kW or larger heaters — including the Almost Heaven Salem and most barrel saunas — require a 240V hardwired circuit, typically 30A for a 6 kW heater or 40A for an 8 kW heater. A licensed electrician must install any 240V circuit; this is a legal requirement and a safety matter under the National Electrical Code. Budget for this work separately from the sauna purchase price, and get a local quote from a licensed electrician.
The Bottom Line
Select Saunas is a solid starting point if you want to compare multiple traditional and infrared sauna brands in one place, benefit from a price-match guarantee, use HSA/FSA funds, or take advantage of installation services. The store's combination of free continental US shipping, split-payment flexibility, and military/first responder discounts adds real value on top of competitive pricing. Confirm the specific return policy, warranty terms, and electrical requirements for any product before you buy — these vary by brand and model, not by retailer. See the full catalog and current pricing at selectsaunas.com.
